Brittany's 93g cube Reef

nice pics i live in rome and purchase some stuff from the reef room really good place i just bought a melanarus wrasse from him and its the best wrasse ive owned so far. if your ever in rome again there is a place called eire glass i got my glass for my sump there 4 baffles cut and sanded for under 40 i think it was like 7 dollars a pane and its not cheap thin glass

Thanks for the info guys! I will have to check it out.

Picaso that torch is attached to a rock that is attached to the glass. It's not an illusion :) the rock has a magnet in it so its just stuck there by that. I think it's called a mag rock. $25 bucks on the website I think it was. I really like it a lot. I wanted the torch to have its own space and not have to worry about it touching anything.

that is a great idea, to have the magnetic rock on the back wall!!!
And seems like a fair price, i was thinking they would be way more. I was just checking them out, i think im going to get the smaller rock one. Nice ledge on their for whatever. I would love an encrusting montie to grow on one!!!

Yes it would probably be easy to make a magnetic rock ledge but I'd rather just buy it already made. Not really handy here it is a great space saver and a monti would look wonderful on one. Maybe I will have to try that out..

Hey guys. It's been a bit since I updated last. Lots has been going on in life. I just recently got a one spot foxface and a new geunia wrasse. Other than that everything has pretty much stayed the same. Lost a couple corals. My pink Birdsnest had some algae growin in the center of the colony. The more I picked it out the faster it grew and overtook the coral. And I had a blue and orange meat coral that my wrasses thought they would dump sand on. By the time I got home from work the meat coral was a goner. I tried to save it but by morning the flesh was gone. All my other corals are doing well and growing. My Todd's torch has split in half and the tenticles are getting insanely long. I think I'm wanting to go a more Lps route with this tank. Actually more specifically euphyllia dominated. Right now I only have three but I would like many more. So anyone with frags you can send them my way ;) not doing brains bc they get covered by sand. Not a huge chalice lover. Anyways enough with the talk lets get to the pics! I can never get a decent shot of any of my fish bc all I have is an iPhone so the fish shots are from a friends camera.

Britt your tank looks great! Love the aquascape. Maybe its just me but your rocks look insanely *clean*. Nothing but coraline on them and that's awesome.

Keep up the great work.

Thanks! They are pretty clean with the exception of aiptasia :headwallblue: can't seem to get away from those buggars. But I am pleased that there really isn't much nuisance algae :) I can't believe how much coralline algae there really is. Tank hasn't even been up a year! Been up since June

Haha thanks! I was in a rush because I wasn't sure how much memory my phone had and when the video would cut me off. :) glad you liked it
