Brittle star fish multiplying

Hi all,
I all 90 gal tank with 3 star fish in there, 2 brittle stars and 1 small serpent. They are always busy working and what not but I am finding out they are busy in a lot of other ways as well. I have found about 7 little baby brittle starfish and there is no telling how many I have thrown away inadvertently when thinning my cheato.

My question is how long does it take for them to get to a decent size to trade and or sell?

Not sure but hey, let them grow and trade them in for coral and other things......Good Luck

You might be seeing adult brittle stars from a smaller species. They are fairly common and good to have.

Thanks for the advice. I have along ways to go. When I first spotted them they were about a centimer in diameter now the biggest of the them is about 1/2 inch in diameter when they have their arms stretched out. It is so cool to see them grow right before my eyes as I have isolated them in my refugium . I lost one the hard way the tang thought it was food when I dropped it in the tank about 2 weeks ago from a turkey blaster.
