Broken screw?

I was cleaning my Tunzes that I just got today.. Anyways, I was reattaching a propeller to the drive unit and the screw broke. It wasn't really tight at all, I must have added a little pressure the wrong way.

So I just need the screw from this picture..

There isn't any spare parts under 6100's that are just the screw, however there is one for the 6080. Its the 6080.641.

I also need a swivel arm I think. Again none under 6100.xxx, but there is a 6080.400 that looks similar.

The pumps are 3.5 years old so I believe they are out or warrantee (wish the seller would've told me). But would those 2 pieces for the 6080 work for my 6100's?

Yes, they are the same, 6080.40 and 6080.641. You really never have to remove the prop screw. The areas that need to be cleaned can be accessed by removing the brakes and lifting the shaft off.

Can I upgrade to the new drive unit without having to replace the driver or anything else?

Also, do I need the swivel arm if I get a Tunze Magnet for mounting?

Thanks guys.

You still need the arm if you get a magnet and the upgrade is just a drop in replacement but you do want to change the bearings with the ones that come with the drive unit since some tolerances may have changed.

Thanks for all the help.

Will the new drive unit get more flow or what advantages does it have? The only thing I have found is it is a little bit quieter.

It can be quieter or noisier, it is not consistent in that regard. The main reason for the change was it was faster to make. The old ones were hand assembled. They still are made for the 6060 and 6080 which require them and in the past we were resistant to having to stock more items and parts so that is why we didn't do it sooner. The 6000 and 6100 don't need the brake shoes.
