Nothing about the vendor itself. My feeling is that if a coral is looking bad, there may be a reason for it besides just bad lighting etc. and I am extra careful with it. I use the when in doubt throw it out theory as visual inspection is my #1 line of defense against potential preditors followed by vigourous dipping and QT.

A couple of the pieces (the first humilis? and the second) look in particularlly bad shape (i.e. more then just browned out) is why I was curious.
Unfortunately, you get what they send. There is some leway though. In the notes section, you can make requests. A friend of mine requested all millies and got them, and another requested half millies and half acros and got them. I don't know if you could go so far as to request specific species or not though.
