brown flatworms eating algae??

Young Reefer
Hey everyone,
First off i hope you all had a great holiday season and got all you reefing needs. Anyways, my problem is brown flatworms. I just as of 5 minutes ago realized they were brown flatworms and not baby stomatella snails. Ive been doing research and i realized that mine were different. I have not yet seen one on any of my corals.(otherwise i would have realized something was wrong.) Instead, I only see them on my glass doing what i believe to be eating algae on the glass. My corals show no sign of distress and like i said ive never spotted one on the coral. Will they move on to the coral when the algae is gone? Should i remove them? If so, what is the best way of doing so. Thanks

ps. that picture is not from my tank. the ones i have are tan but they have the same shape. Also, they are only the size of a few grains of salt lined up.

If I were you, I'd get rid of it now, than wait for it to reproduce to epic proportions... In large quantities, they are not only unsightly, but if they die, they can cause a crash.

Use flatworm exit. If its just a few here and there, you won't need to worry about aggresive siphoning.

ok ill take care of them thanks. should i try to remove a few before i kill to prevent to much toxins?
