brown fungus on the zoa plug

I have noticed a brown fungus growing between zoa and the plug. simple question - how can I kill it so zoa could grow? any help will be greatly appreciated.

Is it a zoa or Paly/Peopleeater?

i usually revive dip 3x a week and scrape the fungus off.

the majority of the polyps usually survive but will end up looking like crap for the next month or so.

It may just be alge or detrus. Blow off with a turkey baister and then place in more flow and notice if it goes away or stays off . I have had this from time to time and it helps me. Good luck

are the zoa's in a low floew area? is it algae or sponge?

i dont have a good camera to take close ups. but it looks like fungus to me rather than algae. i would say they are not in low flow area, but I will move them up a little bit today.

i only asked about low flow as sometimes algae will settle on them, and a quick blast resolves the problem. If its a sponge you can try picking it off.
