Brown SPS - looking for comments

With these changes, don't expect color overnight. It'll take at least a couple of weeks before you'll see some coloring.

The PO4 was measured after the GFO change, about a week.

Yeah, not expecting any color change overnight. I read somewhere that nothig good happens fast in this hobby. I tell that to myself often!

Just got a Vortech MP10 as well, looking forward to playing with it this weekend & finding the optimum location as I will have to cut a hole in the side cabinet for the dry side.

Just stumbled across this thread as I'm having similar issues...

Is there an update?

Been roughly 60 days since the last post so hopefully there's some good news to report?

Updated pics?

Thanks!

change your MH bulb to something around a 14k or 20k

with a 10k light you will always have brown/yellow corals unless you heavily supplement the tank with blue actinic light

I think in your tank a 150 watt Phoenix will work great. It is a great bulb for color and growth, heck I use one. I dont think your old lighting was helping any. Your phos is at a good level if you can keep it there that would be great. Mine is around the same level and I am getting colors back. I would keep thing as they are for 2 months and see how it goes, dont make any major changes. Also what salt mix are you using?? I had had better colors using certain salts than others.
