brown sps

I have been noticing that over the past few months some of my sps are on the brown side especially the lary jackson & the tri color acros
i dose the 2 part from bulk reef not sure if below are my tests

my calcium is 500
alk is 8
mag is 1400

ph is 8.0
phosphates never a problem i run gfo & carbon in separate reactors

not sure if i should be dosing anything else?

What kind of lighting do you have and how old are the bulbs? Also what are your nitrates

What are the PO4 and NO3 levels?

Your Ca is high, I would target 420. IMO alk is fine at 8, but maybe let Mg fall to 1280.

I have 2 250wt SE reflux 12k those bulbs are 5 months old with 2 t5 54 wt each actinic that are 6 months old


my tank is a 180 that has been set up for about 3 years now

nitrate 0ppm

phos .5 with elos kit

.5 or .05? .5 is pretty high for phosphate and that would deffinently cause browning imo.
