Brown Tang / Scopas Tang

So, I purchased a "Kole Tang" for my 55g today (to move to the 90g after everything is settled in it).

I thought the coloring was different because it was a juvenile... However, after looking at more pictures on the internet I now think it's a brown tang. I do love the look, and would like to keep it.... but....

I checked the tang tank sizes thread here on reef central and it says:

Zebrasoma scopas / Brown Tang / 75g / 4ft :celeb3:

liveaquaria.com lists says:

Zebrasoma scopas / Scopas Tang / 125g / 1' Max Size

Anyone know which one is correct? Normally when I see a difference like this It's the other way around because an aquarium store is trying to sell a fish...

Anyone know what is going on?

Can I keep a my brown in a 90g?

It's called a Brown Tang in the tang sizes post here on reef central. It's called a Scopas Tang on liveaquaria.com.

The scopus will only get 6" or so max maybe a little larger. Typically the 80% of wild size is what to expect

I have the regular scopas and it's quite an underrated fish. I got it only because I need a less aggressive Zebrasoma and now I love it.

I love my Scopa. It has beautiful yellow/brown/caramel color to it with it's black horse face. My adult yellow tried to bully the little guy, he put a hurting on that large Tang to the point I almost took him out. One year later, they are buddies and play spar, but stick together like glue.

Haha so ugly it's the most expensive scopus I have come across! SDC had that guy, there were at least 5 that were collected that looked like that with varying blue and yellow markings
