Browning of brain coral

I have a 3" green brain with red edges, and i've noticed that it is becoming more and more brown lately. I haven't moved it, i imagine it has been bumped a few times b/c I did rearrange some things in my tank.
Is the browning just a differnet color zooanthalea (sp?) or could it be more serious like a disease?

It could be a lighting issue. How old are the bulbs in your lamp?

What kind of brain is it and can you get us a picture?
