I know that browning often represents burning of the SPS tips. this is most often due to swings in alk. My alk has been rock steady. I noticed that an undata colony about mid tank is browning at the tallest point of the piece. Everything looks good except for the tip of the protruding section of the piece.
My parameters are as follows
Phos 0
Nitrate 1
Calcium 510
Alk 7.9
Potassium 420
The piece is mid tank. It might be too close to the MP60 which is on glass. The Mp60 is about one foot away from the rock the undata is on. The undata is not directly in the path rather it is place about a foot away and a foot under the Mp60 . Do you think the Mp60 turbulent water flow might be causing the tip
(hightest point) of the SPS to turn brown? I cant find another reason.
