Bta "Balls" Up?

Is this how they "deflate" or is that when they let their tentcles get droopy and not as long? My Maroon clown just started to host mine and he keeps balling up, and tucking everything away so only his outside skin is showing, no tenticals or disk. is there a reason for this?

water quality is perfect
Salinity is at 1.024
Ph : 8.3
Temp : 78 degrees
Ammonia : 0
Calcium : 400

I've had larger btas do this in the past, it was normal. But I have to ask how big the nem is and how big the maroon are. Maroons can love nems to death especially if they aren't at least 1/3rd the size of their host. Factor of 2 if there are 2 clowns.

Only 1 clown, may add another if I can find a small one. The clown is 1/2 the size of the nem at 3".
Nitrates are at 0 ppm (undetectable)

The balling up is normal, I had one that would do it pretty much every night when the lights started to dim.
