I've got a 50 gallon system with two green BTA's and one rose BTA. The greens are 3-4" and the rose is about 8-9". I got the green ones about 2 months ago. They were doing alright but then while i was on vacation about 4 weeks ago the tank temp dropped to like 65 (from 79) due to the ATO reservoir running out. nothing in the tank died but the two green anemones have looked terrible since then.
About 5 days after the temperature mishap, i added the large rose BTA. it is doing very well. Its got its foot in a crevasse and it extends very well and its foot hasnt moved in weeks. it eats very readily and hasnt lost a bit of color. looks just like the mother anemone in the guys tank that i bought it from.
Here is a picture of what the green BTA's look like. please help me-what should i do? is it worth trying to feed? it barely even has tentacles.
I have been told that chemical warfare might be an issue. I run chemipure and i added an ozone reactor yesterday. perhaps that will help?
