I got a bta for my tank about two weeks ago. The first week it did great! Looked great, no bubbles, but great color, eating well, and did not move! The second week, started not eating as fast. I notice the tentacles look smaller and skinnier but still eating. As the week progressed it started to look bad. Tentacle mostly deflated, closing up a lot but still not moving. Two days ago it moved a bit. But now all it's tentacles are deflated the mouth looks like some of its insides are coming out, producing a lot of mucus. I figured it was a goner. I got my turkey baster to try to remove it from the rock, all the mucus came off but the bta held on so I left it. Now I notice that at night the cavity fills up and some of the tentacles too. It looks 100 times better! It still have very good color. I read that this could be stress from my lights being too strong. I have a 30gallon rimless AIO with an ai nano. My light cycle is nine hours starting at 30% and peaking to 80% for an hour then reducing back to zero%. Everything else in tank doing well, levels within spec and stable. Any words of wisdom?
