when I dropped my new BTA in the tank it happened to be in a high flow area and hes being hit prety good with my return flow

will he just move on his own or do I have to intervene?

he was not connected to a rock, so its not like I can just move the rock, he was a free floater and I put him in this position where is is grasping on tightly

In all of my BTA's experience they will move on there own, though a few of the green one's I've had really seem to like the high flow and stay right in it. but IME it will definitly move if it doesn't like it.

he has already started moving

and obviously he moved behind the rocks out of view....of course he couldnt be on the front of the rocks where I'd actully be able to see him

Yeah, he'll move his base somewhere out of view and then poke his tentacles and disk to an area of light. After the lights, if you put a rock to cover where he WAS showing, then he'll move to another place. just my experience when I had 50 RBTAs

He was used to pretty high flow. He was also the guy who was out in the open in high light, so hopefully he'll come out and be social. (I know it's a he because of the little balls on the end of his tes...I mean tentacles.)

The BTA split.

The frags from you are doing well--the GB Packer ones are the ones I really want to spread. I've got all the zoos split in 3 diff. parts, some spreading on a big rock, others kept seperate on the bottom, and others in my nano. The Monti Cap is fading a bit this past week. Most SPS I've have died on me eventually, but I've had decent luck with Monti Caps.

I am sure the Green Bay Packer frags will grow and dominate the entire tank based on strength and class alone

Cause nothing stops a Packer........

the only thing that can beat the packers are themselves (like last night)

the bears did not win..........the packers lost

On 2nd thought, maybe I'll give those away--there has been an odor of rotten cheese coming from my tank...

good good.

Save me a frag of those pinks, btw. I may not make it to the frag swap

I think you have the same kind. Long skirts...I don't know how else to describe them and I don't have a pic right now.
