I am planning a 90 gal tank and was thinking of going with 440 watts of VHO lighting. That is 4.88 watts per gallon.I plan on keeping some soft corals, but was wondering about a BTA.Would that be enough light or should I just keep the BTA out of my plans?

I have had a gba for 3 yrs in a 40 with a 65w pc 50/50 retro kit and a 20w blue actinic. He gets stringy at times but he has done very well and usually has good bulb shape. I admit 1.6 wpg is not ideal by any means but h lived 3 yrs and split once. I think that says you wil be fine. I highly reccomend using reef solutions trace supplement, and I use the little pump phyto that stasy in the freezer.
