BTA needs help

I bought this BTA a while back, almost a year ago I guess. It looked a little bleached when I got it (it was stuck to a rock when I bought some coral, LFS pretty much gave it to me). Anyways, it doesn't stay open like it use to and stays in a crack in the back corner of my tank now and when I try and give it mysis shrimp or regular shrimp it won't take it. What other foods can I try to see if it will eat or what else can I do. Its a 10 gallon with 2X65 pc and the nem is towards the top of the tank. Tank has been setup for about 2 1/2 years so its stable.

What are your water parameters? A ten gallon is difficult to keep because of the small size. Also, what type of filtration do you have running on the tank, including protein skimmer?

It could be that your tank is only 10 gallons- this is such a small volume f water that it is inherently unstable in s.g., alk, ca++, etc. This is not your fault, 10 gal is just to small for a nem to do well.
