i just got home from work and when i look at my bta i found that there is a browinist ring around the root of it, it looked like decay of some sort, i took it out and have fear that it might be dead, the nite b4 he was crunched up and this morning he was open, i took him up to smell and see he is still alive or not, he doesnt smell, i put him back and he look like he is reaching up to the light i need advice plz

Stop moving it and leave it be. If it is still in one piece, it is still alive. They just melt and fall apart when they are died. They shrink down at night and expand during the day. This sounds like normal behavior of an anemone. What are your water parameters? What type of lighting are you using? How old is the tank?

the tank is a yr old and i have 130w pc the nitrate is 5-10 ppm and everything else at normal however, the anemone is better now and is upright and really bright
