BTA Question

I have owned a BTA for about a two weeks now and on the first day it moved to what appears to be its final destination. My maroon fish took to it in about an hour. Over the past couple of days I have noticed the BTA being full size and then hours later very small. For example today at lunch it was at full size and now at night it is very small. I know this happens but how frequently should it occur? Should this happen every day?

Sounds fine, does it eat?

Most likely adjusting to your tank parameters (e.g., flow, photoperiod) via osmoregulation.

yes, I feed it cyclopeeze every other day. Plus the maroon brings food to it as well.

Try some small pieces of krill or silversides as well. The meatier the better.
