OMG, it's only been a week and I am anxiously awaiting the next picture. How's the nemmie doing?
I think you're one of the few who has ended up with a BTA that isn't going to color back up after bleaching. In other words, you'll have to make sure you feed it once or twice a week to make sure it stays alive.
Kevin
I don't know about it NOT coloring back up. It was one sick nemmie so it's going to take time. As said earlier in this thread, it'll take months but the progress so far is just amazing. Agree (and you already know this) until color comes back you have to keep feeding. Heck, you probably will anyway now that the two of you have bonded!
:love1:
I have to say.. I've been following this thread COTD & you have given me much hope that I can bring my BTA back!!
Mine currently looks like yours did in the beginning, with a handful of tentacle stumps. I've started feeding him by hand and he seems to be perking up some!!
I'm not happy you went through this.. but very happy that I found this thread in my search! Congrats on the recovery!! Your BTA is looking much happier!! :bounce3:
I hope I am as lucky!!!![]()
....It looking like it will color but it's really going to take some time . Before I could see right through it and little it seems that in some parts it is getting to be a solid color kind of pink .
I've had a similiar battle.....
I had a Garf bonsai that bleached some 1.5 yrs ago after light shock. It has remained snow white for that entire time with some more than occassional target feedings. Wouldn't you know, the little bugger started showing some brownish-purple color about a week ago. 18 months after bleaching! So, keep your fingers crossed and hopefully in the upcoming months (not years) you'll have a colored BTA again.
