BTA question

I have a rainbow bubble tip that has always had swollen tips and a tightly closed mouth until about a half hour ago it shriveled up with a few swollen tips sticking out. my question is, at the exact same time this started happening was when my yellow watchman goby and tiger pistol shrimp started digging 5 inches directly below it. Is it possible the shrimp is just stirring stuff up below him causing him to react and shrink down?

Sure - anything is possible. This is normal behavior at times. I have a total of 4 BTA. I don't know if I am just luck or they are easy to keep. Each has their own spot, light and flow to their liking. They will recede when expelling or just because. If otherwise in a happy spot I won't pay it any attention.

thanks for the reply! yea when i bought this one i noticed where it was in the LFS tank and conditions it was in and luckily it mimicked the exact spot in the center of my tank and it's stayed there since i've put it so far. I was just trying to see if it was logical thinking that the shrimp stirred some stuff up enough to make him react. My watchman and shrimp are just making a mess out of my substrate lol
