BTA spitting out food

I have this anemone for about 1y but I started feeding her in the summer, when the clowfish saw Finding Nemo and decided to jump.
Usually I feed her fish and shrimp every Sunday. Today is the second time when she is spitting out the fish (mackerel). First time was a couple of months ago. Is it something with the fish or anemone?
I have 2 BTAs in my tank and the other one doesn't spit it out.

She is 5" diam. It is easier this way and also my fish are very bold. They will take anything from her. The tang was taking the fish cube from her tentacles directly, didn't wait to drop on the sand.

Could it be too much food, every week?
I see people are feeding the anemones from 2 days up to a month.
What is the best schedule to feed an anemone?

I have never bothered to target feed any of the anemones I have kept. I currently have a Magnifica which has managed to quadruple in size with no direct feedings.

For comparative purposes, the Hippo Tang is about 7" long.
