BTA split!

So I have two BTA's in my 150gal reef. One RBTA and one Orange/green flame BTA. The Orange/Green Flame BTA has split into two or three nems! They have all been reluctant to come back out of their respective hiding spots and I am worried that if I do not feed them soon they will start to wither away.

Does anyone know how long they usually take to move back out into the lighted areas of the tank? Where they are now is in a cave of sorts under another rock. I can see the tentacles but the body is not visible. Hoping they come out soon...

Be patient, sounds like pretty standard stuff. When mine split, sometimes they are out right away and sometimes they hide out for a couple days. Also, they don't have to be fed - I have 12 or 13 in my tank and usually the only food they get is when I feed the fish. The splits will come out on their own - don't rearrange your rockwork quite yet!!

Yeah, is there anything that people have found out how to induce splitting? High temp or something like that?

I'v read that people say they split under stress?
