I thought i would share this with you all.
having recently upgraded tanks a little over a month ago i had to move my stock and in the process tore my anemone's foot, not a large gash but a small chunk was torn from the base of it. i didnt hold much hope for it(the chunk) but put it in my refugium under a single 10watt 6500k led.
i was very doubtful that it would survive as the light is what i and im sure others would call insufficient. very little flow 2000 litres per hour through the entire sump. to add to that it only had photosynthesis to gain its energy as there was no mouth or tenticals.
so here is the chunk a couple days after i tore it off. very unhealthy looking.
and here it is today a little over a month most of which it was living in the fuge where it grew the new tenticals then i moved it back into the display less than a week ago. it has now developed a mouth and is looking better each day.
and the BTA it came from as it stands today
