The first pic is of my BTA about a month ago.
The second is about a week ago.
The color has changed as indicated in the pics.
It has been doing this nearly a month.
At first, I didn't worry b/c it said they do that from time to time. He won't eat, he is shrinking.
I have had this BTA for nearly a year and has never given me trouble. My tank parameters are all fine and have been the same for quite some time. The tank is actually looking the best it ever has. Before he started to go downhill he was the biggest and healthiest I had ever had him and he was eating daily.
I have 1200 watts of Halides over 150 gal but these lights have been the same for 6 months. I have also moved him in a few different locations, but he has always done superbly wherever I had put him prior to this.
I read that his behavior might denote an infection that he is trying to expel or flush, but I couldn't imagine what he's going through b/c this anenome and I have been through a lot tougher times in this tank before and he's never been this unhealthy or unhappy. He looks like he is starting to bubble up which denotes extreme stress, but I don't know.
What do ya'll think?
