I had a metallic green bubble coral that has slowly been receding. I moved it out of bright light and flow, but it didn't seem to perk up. I inspected it very closely today and found three, white, spiral-shelled snails, about 1/2" in length, wedged inside the skeleton. Around the snails were what looked like little egg sacks.
My question is, has anyone heard of this, or know what they are? How do I treat for them? I removed the snails (and fed them to a triggerfish
). Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
