Bubble King Skimmer Club

Running a BK 400 internal and looking for the spray nozzle type neck cleaner. Does anyone know who to contact? My LFS is unable to get one for some reason. Thanks for any help in advance

Are you talking about a wet neck that cleans the inside of the neck or a wash down system that cleans the outer neck inside the cup? I'm not aware of any wet neck systems for the BK skimmers

This my BK/AquaDriver Skim Clean neck cleaner with with wash down system. You may still be able to get it from BK but I'm not sure if they are selling them anymore. If not, you can contact AquaDriver in Europe directly and they can sell you one. Be prepared though as the aren't cheap. But they are also much better quality than the Swabie or Vectra. The motor is by far better than those two and rotates much quicker. It also has sprays a bit of water on the wiper blade when it cleans via a pump built into the motor that draws from the hose you can see in the photo. I originally purchased mine a few years back for my Alpha 300 and ordered a new lid to fit my Supermarin 250 when I upgraded.

Same story.... I purchased a BK 200 mini with RD3 speedy pump to replace a $200 skimmer that I had for some time for my 175 gl. After just 4 months the pump just stopped working.
Premium aquatics asked to return the pump to them and after few days , they told me that the pump will be replaced at no cost to me. ( I paid shipping) .
I did not expected anything else on a $1300 skimmer. That was 3 months ago and still no pump only excuses.
Emails to Royal.exclusive and Premium aquatics result in new delivery dates but always the date is changed.
I don't like to complaint but these is bad costumer service.

After Ten days still no pump. Total waiting time 4 months.

Bad customer service is putting it nicely. Klaus does not respond to PMs, Matthias Wüstefeld respond once via email asking to give him another day to respond. That was a week ago, he hasn't responded to follow up emails.

So it's been 6 days since I let Klaus and Torsten know about my post. Still no replies here or by e-mail. I guess they are busy building that 9 foot dreambox and have no time for us :thumbdown

Bad news. Just found out Aquadriver has been cut off by the manufacturer and can no longer produce the neck cleaners. i was hoping for a unit very similar to what you have but cannot seem to get one anymore. May have to open up a new business! Time to put the engineering degree to work.
avast will not make a swabbie for my size skimmer 400mm..
Vertex is the same only go up to 300 mm...

What skimmer are you going to use this on? You could always get the Vectra motor/wiper combo and modify your existing lid. I could even modify your lid for you if you wanted. PM me if you are interested as I still have some parts leftover in case I need them down the line. I originally got my AquaDriver for an Alpha 300. I bought the SCH without the washdown and decided to make my own wash down system for it that was modeled after the AquaDriver one.

I purchased some red acrylic and red tubing. I had my acrylic fabricator cut the acrylic to my specifications and then glued the acrylic onto the lid. The end results worked pretty darn well. The biggest issue was getting the holes right in the 1/4" tubing. It took a few attempts to get it right. In the end, I used a hot needle to make the holes. Mine is attached to a hose spigot on a tap water line and controlled via a solenoid managed through my Apex.

Here is the project on a 300mm lid.

I was able to get in contact with Aquadriver directly in Germany and purchase a unit for my bubble king 400 int. They also told me that they have not lost manufacturer in Germany just dont have distributor in US any longer. Good news they are still available and one is on the way. Bad news it will likely be by rowboat and take quite some time.

I went to that website and submitted a contact form letting them know what's going on. That was more than a week ago. Still no reply, Klaus made a post saying replacement parts are at the FL office ready for premium aquatics to pick up. I am just wondering if my rd3 is part of that shipment?

My current rd3 for the dc250 skimmer is putting out stray voltage and I have been waiting forever!!

Isn't this ridiculous. I also have not heard a word from Klaus. These guys hop on hear make all these smart replies but we never hear back from them. Forget the Florida office. They have virtually nothing yet. Premium is still ordering everything from Germany. Their latest order is supposedly ready to go, but Premium is now waiting for UPS to get in there and pick the darn order up for shipping. I am now going on 8 months without the use of my skimmer.

They asked for my address over a week ago and I was thinking ...finally I am getting my pump!!!!!........yesterday I got an email asking to describe my problem.

wow!!! this is crazy. I seriously would've never thought this would happen from this company. Anyone would think that if a company charges an arm and a leg for their products, that their customer service would also be worth an arm and a leg.

I hope you guys get your issues resolved soon. I have to say to the guys who waited 8 months, kudos for being so patient. if it were me, I would've sent the thing back after a month to the guys i bought it from, and tell them to give me a new part or give me a full refund and they can deal with RE themselves.

I feel your pain MBMAX. I got the same question and e-mail but that was over 3 weeks ago. Still nothing.

I just check other threads in this forum,
And you could read post answering questions
As late as last night from Klaus (royal Exclusive ) and
And from PA.
But nobody answer any questions
From us waiting for our replacement pumps
What can I say.

Hello to you all!
My name is Matthias and I'm a managing member of ROYAL EXCLUSIV USA. As you've probably learned, we've opened our US warehouse in Florida on August 15th.
We're very sorry about these comments in the forum. There a very few customers from our US dealers who sent pumps for warranty or replacement parts to their dealers, our customers.
It is definetely not our fault that some of these pumps and parts have been incorporated at the dealers for months. Fact is, that we received these pumps right after this years' MACNA (it was great there!), on September 2nd.

Less than 48 hours later all pumps have been checked and the feedbacks in cluding pictures have been sent to our customers. The main problem was, that we received several pumps, but not even one of them had any customers' name, invoice or anything else to identify them. That makes it very difficult to handle a situation like that!

We can only apoligize for these inconveniences, though it is not our fault. We strive very intensively to find out, which pump belongs to whom so that we can get in direct contact with you as the final customer. It will take another few days, but our focus is to satisfy all our customers and ROYAL EXCLUSIV supporters!

Our German headqarter has its anual closing until September 25th, so please send all messages to us in Florida. We will take care for all your belongings in less than 24hours from now on.

Thanks very much for your patience and cooperations and have a great day!!
Greets
Matthias
