Bubble Magus Curve a9

Just got my Curve a9 for my tank - of course the instructions are LAME and say nothing on setup except water depth to put the skimmer in (25-27cm, or 9.6-10.8 inches).

It has the dial adjustment that turns the gear to open/close the water inlet to raise/lower the water level inside the skimmer. There is an additional adjustment on the opposite side that is not tied in to the same gear and hand adjustment, but looks identical. Do I keep this one open the same amount? I cannot find any videos, etc on the Curve a9.

I'm sure I'll figure it out once I get it in the sump tomorrow, but curious if anyone else has used one and can provide some insight.

I have the A8 , the lower dial is used to fine tune the skimmer, say the top knob just spins but the skim only reaches the lower part of the neck then you can spin the lower dial to bring the skim up higher.
Hard to see but the dial is on bottom right and knob on upper left.

I'm gonna get it in the tank this morning to start breaking it in.

Got it up and running now. Gave it a good vinegar bath first and have it sitting in exactly 10" of water already making good skim.
