Hi all, Sorry to have a problem on my first post, but I was advised you were the people who knew all there is to know about zoas.
To cut a long story short, on Saturday I started working on my frag tank which involved removing all my frags into seperate containers of tank water. As always I glanced at each frag and all seemed well.
As I was putting all the frags back in my tank I noticed some bubbles had appeared on most of my zoas just underneath the heads. I am certain they were not there before.
Yesterday the zoas had deteriorated and today there seems no improvement. The bubbles are growing then a whole layer of the zoas seems to lift off and so they are gradually disintergrating.
I am fairly certain I have caused this myself due to how long I ended up haveing them out of the tank. The water in the containers had got very cold.
Anyhow my main questions are
1. does the picture look like zoas that have been affected by cold or something else?
2. should I try to frag off the few good heads and accept my losses on those that are left or should I just step back and see if they repair themselves?
Again, really sorry for the problem on my first post but am quite desperate to find the answer.
