Buddy for my melanarus

I am selling my red head solon wrasse (also known as solaris wrasse) to another reefer. He's been a good fish, but I was never crazy about his coloration. Anyway, I'm considering another wrasse to go along with my melanarus. My mel is about 3.5 to 4 inches long, and he did not bother the solaris. The solaris was added a few months after the mel.

I've heard mels can be aggressive as they get older. I am considering either a mystery or a yellow coris. Bad idea? Any experience with these fish?

Melanurus wrasses can be completely cool with new wrasse additions or they can be complete jerks or somewhere in between, using a social acclimation box helps lessen aggression and can help you see how the interactions will go. In the majority of situations a melanurus will be just fine with other wrasses.
