check fragswapper if you are interested in anything I have. I will only be able to bring frags that are reserved because I am working the shop that day

thanks
Chris

To those of you that have small halide fixtures, there are a few people looking for them. I'd suggest bringing them.

Also, a final note to the sellers bringing setups. Don't forget power strips and extension cords, bags and bands, and small bills for change.

Store opens at 11AM for anyone wanting to setup.

Thanks

See you in a few hours.

So this may sound like a really stupid question, but this is the first frag swap I will be attending and I was just curious how the whole thing works exactly. Should I bring something to keep any frags I buy warm or will sellers hold onto things for me until I leave?

The name tends to throw people off... basically it's an event in which local hobbyists from the WNY area come together and sell (and/or trade) coral with eachother. There will be 6-10 tanks setup with corals as well as some new/used drygoods, there are usually one-day only store sales, too.

Usually if you pay up front, the sellers will hold the coral until you are ready to leave. The sellers will supply bagging material, but bringing some sort of cooler isn't a bad idea, especially with the colder weather.

Even if you don't buy anything, it's a good chance to meet other hobbyists from the area and discuss reefing. Hope to see you there! :)

I am going to try and make it, but if not you guys are ALL welcome to bring any unsold frags to me. I'm sure Kyle will be there, since he thought way ahead and took the day off a few weeks ago.

I'm really sorry but I had something emergent come up early this morning and won't be able to make the swap. really sorry to anyone I was swapping or buying from.

I always bring a styrofoam cooler to every swap. At the least, it helps keep everything warm on the way back home. I'm sure sellers can sometimes hold stuff until you're ready to leave but I feel bad asking them to do that when there's a higher volume of people in and out and they have to remember what things are being held.

Hey all I have a few small RBTA that i will be bringing with me just in bags or in a plastic container, so if anyone is interested I will have a few rbtas like 5 or 6 id say in the 1.5 inch to 3 inch disc size range and the with tenticles of course much bigger. Or if anyone wants one in the future I have a whole colony of easily 40 id say so i have plenty available.
