<a href=showthread.php?s=&postid=15616558#post15616558 target=_blank>Originally posted</a> by Wolverine I love getting new post notices from this thread.
Spent the afternoon searchin for bugs. First week with my d90 and tamron 90mm macro any constructive criticism would be appreciated. All shots handheld mostly on auto. I just dled the trial of lightroom and edited them a bit, did I help or ruin them ?
Nice one ZX. What camera/lens are you using? I like the Tamron 90mm but I am considering the 105 nik vr or maybe even an 150mm macro so I don't have to be right on top of these guys....
Ok, they don't hold a candle to some of the ones already posted but here are a few snapshots I took in the front yard with my hand-held Canon 20d and 70-200 f2.8L
And this one was taken with a Casio ex-s500 handheld at the Butterfly House in Phoenix, AZ.
Any feedback for improvement would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Jesse and Z.X for showing us how it's done. And gketell, that last shot is sweet. I like the flat open wings of the subject, the image composition and the background flowers.
