Build log: My 360G Mixed Reef [56k beware]

I'm rather fond of zoanthids and probably have around 80 color morphs. Eventually I will get them all photographed. I lost between 20 and 30 morphs.

My BRAINS! Well one of them ;)

My fish are well fed. The tangs go through 2 sheets of nori per day. A varied diet is important for healthy fish. Frozen mysis shrimp, krill, veggie, and various seafood combinations are offered as frozen foods. Pellets, and a bit of flake top off the menu on occasion. Some of the food is soaked in Selcon prior to feeding to supplement extra fats and vitamins. I am also doing a few things to ensure that plenty of natural food is available. More on that later. Back to the pics.

Oh, BTW..... they like the camera!

Jaws roaming for his next target.

This juvi Vlamingi Tang just happens to be the previously mentioned target(most likely). This fish forgot tangs are supposed to be horizontally challenged.

I have ran several fatten up the Blonde Naso campaigns. He came very skinny, pretty much just bones.

A fire fish and neon goby hanging out, probably wondering why the tangs are swimming circles.

:) I pulled 3.5 buckets of crushed coral and other junk out of the sand. I had 12 some odd buckets and a 55g full of sand.

The next thing on the DIY list is the water change setup. It will change ~7 gallons per day, every day. =)
First off nice build  keep the post coming on your diy water change set up sounds interesting. AGAIN NICE JOB!!

How's the tank doing Mark? Any pics of your new frags?

Also - how did you clamp on the glass when you were gluing the tank back together? I saw how you did the eurobraces...wondering about the tank itself.

Thanks for the replies and kind comments :) A lot has changed and is in process of changing. I have an update in the works with plenty of new photos. Stay tuned =]

The tank was real easy, once you stick the pane to the tank, you probably could have walked away. I simply used clear packing tape to hold each pane proper.

wow it looks awesome. what type of skimmer do you have again?
Currently I am using the Octopus DDNW-250. It is doing ok. I have taken my time modding this skimmer so as not to burn up the pumps. I really havent decided if its enough for the tank, atm I am leaning on no. I might sell this one and go to the large reeflo.

WOW!!! My wife didn't speak to me for a week for my 20-90g upgrade. I can't imagine what my wife would do if I got a 360g upgrade.

Oooh. I can already feel the pit in my stomach.

I can vouch for the Reeflo. I just added the new smaller model and it's a beast.
