Found these to make feeding corals easier. Beats individually measuring (red sea reef energy)

After much harassment from my friend Chris, I broke down and bought a Hybrid T5 Fixture. I installed the 60" version of the Aquatic Life Hybrid to go alongside my 3 G4 Pro Radions. Added the deco end caps to clean up the installation as well.

I turned down the Radions to 40% to try and match the PAR I was getting with the LEDs alone. I will likely come up slowly to 50-60%. It has been a couple of months since I installed the light and it definitely has shown some positive change with colors. I run my T5s for 7 hours, and I have seen a slight increase in tank temp on the days I am not home and the AC defaults to 77 degrees. I will look into adding 2 180mm fans blowing down in between the radions to see if I can get that degree back through some evaporative cooling.

Tank continues to move along nicely. I can say that the T5 hybrid fixture definitely seems to have helped.
Temperatures have risen a tad (more so when I am not home and AC defaults to 77). I plan to install 2 fans blowing down from lights on to the waters surface to see if I can bring it down 1 degree. Apex shuts off T5 at 81 which it will reach almost at the end of the T5 light cycle of 7 hours.

I am still using Red Sea Reef Energy A & B 2 out of every 3 nights (mostly due to work shift schedule)

10ml each per night.
Got these on Amazon to make feeding easier.

Tried to snap a photo of my salt mixing procedure.
2 bags of INSTANT OCEAN and a few minutes later i have 90 gallons of fresh salt water
(105 gals total - I fill and mix when down to 15 gals)

Last update for tonight,
I decided to replace my Ecotech Vectra M1 with a Red Dragon DC 100W.
I think this may be a bit more reliable in the long run.

I was getting around 275 GPH with my Vectra at 80% (using about 75watts)
With the RD I am getting around 325 GPH at 70% (same wattage)
The Elos has a very small restrictive return and causes much head pressure. Pump also provides flow to ARID and small reactors.

I man one day tweak the plumbing to eliminate points which could allow me to run pump a bit lower but for now it is doing the job.
I am happy with 300-350 GPH turnover through sump.

The RD controller is much larger, so I still have to clean up the power cable connected to it.

You can see ARID still doing its thing.

Have you noticed any positive effects with the Red Sea A&B?

And I agree, the T5/LED mix is phenomenal. I have to watch my temps a bit and perhaps raise the fixture a bit in the summer, but the corals love the spectrum and output of the T5/LEDs

Its hard to tell what is helping the most. My nitrates run around 3-4 which may still be a little low. The reef energy likely plays a roll in the total scheme of things to increase nutrients available to the corals.
I think its just a good combination of things that work together well. The C-balance 2 part, the hybrid lighting, the reef energy and the flatworm stop.

I could remove cogs from the machine to see what works and what doesn't, but its doing so well that I dont want to risk it.

Im working on a solution to add 2 fans to the hybrid fixture to help drop temp a degree or 2. Will post when completed.
