building my dream tank ( 96"L X 36"W X 28"H )

Now starting with the stand,,,,,

what do you think ??

i d say 15mm should be enough but it all depends on how are you planning to brace it!!!Have you considered going the plywood way?You are going to save a lot of money that could go on stock...

the plywood way...?!? never thought of it ..... I think I'll go with the all glass way....Thanx for the idea:rollface:
 
ply and foam would be my choice...

love the monster stand, question tho.. wont it be difficult to fit a large sump under the stand with those diagonal center braces?
 
what kind of depth are looking at for the sump? it doesn't look like youll have a high enough water level for a skimmer that's big enough for this system unless you're doing an external skimmer.

I am thinking of 16" it would take a little space from front and behind but i'm ok with that:bdaysmile: .... what do you think?
