Anup. So far so good.
But don't dose too many additives.
Slow but sure.

hi Chingchai,

Yes, thanks for the tip Chingchai, i will not be dosing all of them....just got them for any adjustments necessary and only if needed :D

I am planning to get a doser for the two part calcium/Alk (Seachem Fusion 1 and 2) dosing, with closely moniter pH, Alk and Calcium levels....

Slow is the key....but its sooo easy to get carried away and hurry in this hobby righttttt and end up in disaster :headwallblue:

I am just making sure i have everything in hand ...just in case....:D

thanks a lot to you Chingchai....your dedication to this hobby is my greatest inspiration

Nice build so far. If i may suggest to get a refractometer rather than the hydrometer. Also, I used to use that digital temp gauge and always found it to be 1 or 2 degrees off btw.

Hi Evoi19,

Point noted...

I will be upgrading in future to an aquarium controller with an accurate temperature moniter and also will get a refractometer for accurate measurement of salinity.

Thanks a lot for following and for your suggestions.

Good advice. Much easier to use and more accurate. Calibration solution for it isn't a bad idea either.

Got this today

Got this today

RGB LED Light Bar....with multiple colour combination options, includes a remote :bounce1: (To use as an accessory to the main lights to enchance the coral colouration and visual appeal)

2 x nano propeller wavemakers...to aid in some additional flow at the bottom part of the tank

Very nice scape and quality of rock. Looks very good.

Thanks smtank!!

Appreciate you viewing my thread...i had this idea for scape and it was bit of a long wait and searchin to get the ideal rock pieces to bring it to life the way i wanted...:strange:

Happy reefin....

This is gonna be nice ! Apply the attention to the stocking and husbandry as equipment selection and you should do great !

hiya PokerReefer,

does your name combine two of your hobbies together :D poker and reefing?

The idea is to stock different types of Filament/Flasher wrasses...i love em and their interaction with each other...

Small school of Anthias....preferrably the tiger/saddle back anthias...

Maybe an angel...Queen angel juvenile....which has already been acclimatized to the captive enviornment and feeding well on a variety of foods...

What ya guys think...a good or bad choice?:D

Hey man nice project!!!
I just have a little tip for you...back away a little the rocks from the lateral glass so it becomes easier for the magnet algae cleaner to pass without bumbing on the rocks and making it easier for you to clean it.
Keep posting updates for us

The cabinet, the equipment, the scape, all very nice. Well done so far.
Looking forward to seeing rest.

thanks Andre,

thanks for viewing and for the tip....will do a bit of adjusting so i can clean the nooks and crannies :spin1:

I will be adding 1 or 2 live rock pieces (which are are already in an establilished reef tank) to this scape, to help seed the tank with bacteria and coralline....that will be the final scape...

good luck to ya on ur build bro
