So I come home today and look as normal to see if my clowns are mating and see that my cleaner shrimp has eggs. So I jump in to action because I love a challenge. Built this below and it appears to be built just right. Wish me luck as if this works ill let y'all know.

Built it from extra PVC pipe I had along worth coke bottle, zip tie, airs tone and air pump not hatch last night but it did catch some food. Will keep you updated.

updated, after finding out that it will be atleast 14/15 days until cleaner shrimp hatch i modified my larvae catcher just alittle, will post pic tomorrow. As well now that my one cleaner shrimp is about 6 days in to having eggs now today I see that my other cleaner shrimp has a good sack of eggs under her belly as well. woot woot, will see if i can master raising them. love a challenge.

How did you come up with the design or what is the design derived from? this is going to be really interesting, I wish you the best of luck.

I just looked at what stuff I had available laying around thought the design up in my head. I'll post an updated pic later as it seems to be catching small tiny swimming pods right now.

Catching pods... Excellent! Should make an great larvae catcher when the eggs hatch. I would like to see more detailed plans of your contraption.

Later,Adam
