Bulbs advise

Hi,

I am currently using Hamilton's Cebu Sun which has 4 x 54w T5's and 2 x 250w Metal Halides.

I am using Hamilton's 250w 14k for halides and 2 Actinic ATI and 2 purple plus. Soon the time will come to replace the bulbs, I am using Hamilton's electronic ballasts.

I read in so many threads that if I get Radium's I wont get the best output from electronic ballasts, I am thinking to change the bulbs to 20k from 14k, or if I will stick to the same combination I will remove 1 bulb of purple plus with another Actinic.

You can see pictures of my tank with the current fixture in my albums.

Height of the tank is 60cm.

Adnan, if you want to try the Radium, it won't hurt anything other than your wallet, and yes it is true you will not get the full power of the bulb. The bulb may run a little more on the blue side than normal but you can always adjust the T5's to balance out the color to what you want. I don't think what you have looks bad, in fact it looks good.
