Bulk carbon

Does anyone buy online or local? All the places by me charge high $$ for it. Do any of you do group buys of carbon?

Salty has it for 4.50 lb with min 4 lb buy. Not bad if you take in shipping and Dan is local. I'm starting to find out that local LFS may have a slightly higher price (not alway the case, sometime thet are cheaper than on-line), but shipping is going up or product prices are going up.

That's a good price. Does Dan go to the meetings? Does anyone live close by that would be willing to pick some up for me and bring with them to the meeting?
