Bulk Order

If anyone's been thinking about doing a bulk order now would be a good time to start discussing it. I was thinking anyone doing so could order after the next meeting, convenience thing, ya know?

My new corner tank is ready to go so I will probably participate in a bulk order if one gets done. Just a thought,

Fidel

Hey Fidel, we have ordered from PetSolutions and Foster & Smith in the past and had good service from both. Shipping is good, especially if there are 3 or 4 people splitting it. I am almost out of Selcon and depending on where you order from, we will probably get that and something else.

Yo Yo, I may be up to it, let me know from where you are talking. If its more convient, let me know at the meeting. Looking forward to joining. Mark

I've been looking for something to make it worth the shipping from Pet Solutions, but haven't seen anything I'm interested in on sale. Let me know if one goes out and I'll add to if I can find somethng.

Dry goods or live things? I just ordered some stuff from BulkReefSupply, but depending on when it is, I could use a few small things. They have great (fast) shipping, and good pricing. I am on the second tier pricing scale, I think, and if we had 10 people ordering, they would give us group buy pricing but ship to each of ours homes.

I don't need any dry goods so I was thinking more along the lines of LiveAquaria.com or Dr. Mac's East pacific since I want to order a few corals. If someone else has a site in mind, let me know as I am flexible.

Both of these places are having some good sales right now and both carry perishable fish foods, like selcon, DT's, etc...

Let me know what you're thinking,

Fidel

Unfortunately, I'm out on any live orders until April, after vacation. I've got ALMOST everything to get the 40gallon up and running, the stand and back pane paint are drying right now, but I've spent more this weekend than I originally budgeted for while still saving for vacation.
