Bulk Reef group order?

I'm interested. You have to fill out the group buy form with peoples name and email address associated with their BRS account. Then email it to them with a start date which has to be a Tuesday and they will email you the day it opens when you can start ordering. Just check out the group buys section on the website and there you can download the form it's a PDF. Oh and I don't think it's allowed to go on their forum, it can only be within our local club forum otherwise it violates an RC rule (forget the specific).

Nice. We'll have plenty of people. I'll take the reigns closer to or just after Christmas. I corresponded with dc, one of the mods, before starting this thread. I'll make sure we do it right and abide.

I'm already a member of the preferred customer group (from a previous group purchase) and I receive the associated discounts so I'm going to bow out of this group buy UNLESS you need help reaching the $175 OR someone is going to get upset with me :)

FWIW BRS sells the "good stuff". So many places sell useless money wasting things and this isn't one of them!
 
Yeah, I seem to recall being a premium member too. I didn't see any discount on a recent order, but it may be reflected in the pricing vs a non-member, so the price I got, could have been lower.

Bottom line is, I'm going to be placing a decent sized order with them regardless. I'm sure I'll qualify for the free shipping. But, If we can get a discount, or get a few more URS members on the books as Premium Members or whatever it's called, then it's still a "W". A few more people will save a few bucks.

I won't gain anything by organizing it, but it'll be a perfect venture for those late On Call evenings when I need a time filler.
 
I think you get the bulk rate price forever once you become a Prefered Reefer with them.

And, further investigation shows that I would get a $20 reward for organizing it. I don't necessarliy want to mislead people, and I'm not doing it for that reason, so if someone else wants to take the reigns I'll understand. Just didn't want to be dishonest, I just found this out while looking for info on prefered reefer pricing.

Like I said, I'm fine to keep running with this, just didn't want to seem to philanthropic at the same time there was in fact a little something to gain on my end.

Yeah David, that's the plan. But, per group buy rules, I need everyone's names and email addresses. Then we pick a date, I submit the list of folks, once date is upon us, we have a week to order at the reduced rate.

If Syr guys PM me, I'm thinking we could put in our order together, maybe save a few more bucks. But Syr guys Pm me for further discussion.
