bulkheads - local availablility?

Any of the local pool or spa places have bulkheads? What about HEP Sales? I ordered the wrong size from Savko and am too impatient to wait for another order. I am getting very close to actually getting the tank wet.

I ran around a little today my HEP had three in stock and not the sizes I needed. I decided to order them. I should have them by Thursday. Just another delay :mad2:

I'll have to work on the electrical or something else in the meantime. There is always something to do.

Should have asked me... I have 3/4"m 1", 1-1/2", and 2" here

Thanks. I ended up just exchanging for what I had, otherwise I would have gotten stuck with a bunch of the wrong size. Thanks anyway. BTW, where are you, may not have been worth the drive. I'm in Horseheads.

Didn't even consider going there. They never have much. I'll check them out first next time. Generally, I like shopping local. There usually isn't much choice though.

The problem with going to the city zoo for anytng like that is that you have to ask for it. I usually have a hard time getting any service in there. I just do not have a pleasant experience most of the time when I go there. They usually have nice fish but if you can not get anyone to get them for you then who cares. I like to shop local too but the shops we have local make that real hard.

i know he has a bunch i had him order quite a few and didnt end up needing them... im in the city zoo a few times a week usually and never have a problem. i think its almost a matter of getting to know the ppl that work there

you should get the same service wether you know them or not. why go back if you get bad service. ive had probs in there as well. prolly never go back.
 
ill be honest and straight forward. i have worked there since the shop opened. i completely aggree that everyone should be treated with the same great service. truth to the matter is that some of the employees dont care, for one reason or the other(MAINLY BECAUSE OF THEIR INTERESTS IN FUZZY CREATURES). and its sad.

with that said if you need/want/interested in anything, any questions, or just want to bullsh*t about anything fish. let me know,

i like to buy stuff as close to home i can. the zoo and auburn are my only choices. so i order. maybe i should call the zoo before i make a 1 hour drive
