Bumble Bee snails, good or bad?

I have a dozen or so in my tank and recently I was told that they kill other snails and eat pods and worms in the sand. If that's true, how much damage do they do and should I get rid of them?

I have not read anything negative about them either. I suppose it's easy enough to look the answer up online if you need to.

It is true, these snails have mixed reviews. I've read enough negativity about these snails to steer clear. Whether they are bad or not I don't know for sure. But it's better to be safe than sorry :p Just keep an eye on them for now...It could be these snails consist of more than one sub specie with some safe and others not. Maybe yours are like Gary's...

yes there is a sub species that is not reef safe...shell isnt as compact/skinney with bad ones...still hard to tell diference...in any case yes they can be bad.
