Buried Treasure!

I went diving at a local quarry (Pearl Lake, S. Beloit) last weekend. As I was swimming thru the cold, murky water, I found a brand new 24mm wide angle Sealife lens! Perfect condition. Anyone wanna buy it? $70 Sells for around $90 new.

I did ask the owner if anyone had inquired about loosing it. We were both pretty shocked that no one had.

I got certified there, and all I found was a crawfish.

crayfish and some sunken cars for me. They wouldn't let me take the cars though.

You never saw the schoolbus you can swim thru w/a toilet inside, or the submarine? There is also a large gargoyles & a Frankenstein monster!

We've had lots of fun feeding the sunfish spagetti. One got a lil too curious & bit me on the lip, drawing blood. Good things there weren't any sharks around! This past weekend there were lots of larger fish, including a 2' trout & a 3" giant black catfish that swam w/us. He was just a few feet ahead & kept turning around to see if we were still following him. He swam really slowly, so we could keep up.

The fellow that lost the lens found out about me finding it thru the Scuba Board Forums. He's coming for it tonight. He only lives a couple of miles away.
