burnin... new bulbs weird

ok so.. got the new vho actinics... got the new bulbs in yester hammy true 10k's

one is burnin crisp perfect white the other is duller, yellower comparitively.
I know that there is a burn in period, just thought it would err on the side of blueness now yellowness (you know you love the techical terminology) I am so ready to just say screw it and get a new ballast. bulbs fire up fine. no problems. this normal?


(I bought the 14k and were way too blue for my taste, maybe I'll be ready next time lol)

You need to remember that it can take two weeks before you can actually see how the bulbs are going to look they take a while to burn in

HAH! I had a defective bulb. I switched the bulbs to make sure it wasn't the ballast and the prob followed the bulb. I took out the bulbs and compared them side by side. the prob bulb was different and you could see the burn marks where juice was arching. called hamilton went back to CF. New bulb is perfect. nice!! prob solved.
