What else can I add to increase his diet?

live blackworms. worms are the diet for copperbands and is what thet should be fed. mysis are good but you get a lot of shells with a little shrimp meat

I agree with Paul's suggestion of live blackworms. That is my cbb's favorite food by far and they are nutritious. Mine also eats a homemade mix of chopped and frozen salmon, scallop and shrimp (I will add chopped clam the next time I make the seafood) and Rod's food.

My CBB eats pretty much all frozen. No flakes but I do want to try black worms. Great fish

I fed my Wrasse some flakes today, and my CBB took a couple of chunks at it. So I guess whats a good sign

No, but you can get a regular longnose for $35.

True. But, not that different. A couple of inches of snout. Anyway, if I had money to burn, maybe I'd get them, but being budget minded, I'll go with the shorter nosed cousin. That is just me. There is certainly someone out there that will pick them up, and love them. They are definitely cool. You asked why they are still there, I postulated that it is due to the pricetag.

I too was surprised they lasted. They are somewhat large.

Probaby not...My pair of flavissimus actually started out in the FO, but they didn't do well over time. Moved them into the reef, where they are much better off.

after initial success... So my CBB started out great ate mysis, and even some flakes the first couple of days. 3 days later he won't touch food what so ever. I tried frozen black worms, blood worms, mysis, and flake. My LFS gets a shipment of live black worms in tomorrow. I'm gonna try some then. Wish me luck.

Let us know how it works out. Live blackworms are the key, although you could try live brine shrimp and clam also.

Update on Arizona the CBB: Got live black worms on Saturday he ate some immediately next day barely touched them started noticing growths on his tail and fins. I thought great what happened...
Yesterday I decided to test my nitrates. They were at 20-40(Api test kit) So I did a 10 gallon water change, now nitrates are at about 10-20 gonna do another big water change tomorrow. Arizona immediately looked better after water change, and eating the black worms with no hesitation going across the entire tank to get some. I'm pretty sure the Nitrate spike was from over feeding. I'm gonna feed sparingly for the next few days.

I ended up removing my lobo and my two largst acan colonies today. The yellow longnoses continued to stick their noses into the mouths of these corals, I assume to eat any gut contents they could find. The corals haven't looked good fo a few months now, so I decided to find better homes for them.

Does anybody have experience with the declivis butterfly in a reef? I think they are one of the best looking butterfly's. If anybody keeps them, what is your experience with them?

chaetodon paucifasciatus...... I realize they are not suited for reefs, BUT i do recall reading a thread on the singapore reef forums with guys adding some genus of butterflys to a reef.IF the reef was SPS only would it work? I understand they want to eat inverts, but what else in a reef will they make their meal? thanks for any input I can get on this fish, as it seems very hard to find info on this species on the internet.
