Scott i need to talk to you about your retro led that u did i was wondering if it would work on a 240 8 ft long lol
For a DIY setup that can grow anything, you would probably need to buy at least 4 of these and some heat sinks to cover your entire tank. If you do not plan a "wall of rock", though, you can get more selective in the lighting and place the LEDs where you want have your rockwork. You can even select various optics to penetrate deeper into the water or to spread the light out more for shallow stuff. A strip or two of T5HO bulbs could provide you actinics and some uniformity light for less than going all actinics if you go this way. I'll PM you my cell should you desire to look deeper into this, but the initial costs would be steep (with savings in energy and lower heat and 7+ year bulb life in the long run).Scott i need to talk to you about your retro led that u did i was wondering if it would work on a 240 8 ft long lol
Did you not go on to object to ETRC policy "on principle"? You aren't the first to question this recently, so can't the BOD explain the policy in response to this concern? You then made it clear that this is really about your situation, so why mention James earlier? Then, did you suggest that people are being rude by simply responding to your accusations rather than remaining silent? These are just questions.Funny how a question, turns into a debate. All I did was ask a question. This last 6 months I have had things go wrong or i wold have been a paying member. for example My wife has been in and out of the hospital. Just now getting back on her feet. Number two we where going to be moving and decided to pay off our house we live in now that way it would save us a lot of money in the long run. And just for the record suggestion dont need membership only votes does.

Actually, we now have a very nice Apogee PAR meter We've also talked about a phosphate meter, but haven't settled on anything yet as a club. We just talked about the future use of club funds at the BOD meeting. This will be discussed at the March meeting with an eye towards the ETRC frag swap, and all members are encouraged to attend and give their input.we havent done nothing with the money at all[.] we talked about buying stuff but never did[.] we talked about buying one big coral and people didnt like that cause not everyone keeps the same corals.... so please joel think before you respond and attacking me....I have no problem with you or anyone else
