BYE BYE LED's

Yes I pulled the plug today on my AI's LED's and went back to T5's for my 400gal house tank. I know my tank is deep (36') and I might struggle to hit the Par on sand so I will maybe keep 1-2 AI's for supplement
I went with (2)ATI fixtures -8x bulb 39W - 36" , hope I can start to grow SPS like I did in the past because I really think I had the issue of not be able to dial in my LED's for past 2 years.....good Christmas gift to myself...:wave::wave::wave::wave::wave:

what was wrong with the LED's? the AI fixtures are good fixtures and have lots of flexibility. What PAR readings were you getting with them?

oh, I didn't know you had t5's on the 400 in the past. If you didn't have any MH or LEDs to punch to the sand, what did you keep on the bottom of the tank?

How were your colors and growth in the past?
