C. lanceolatus on DD

Is the dark spot on the pelvic fin on the posterior or anterior portion of the C. lanceolatus? I couldn't tell from the picture. Reason I ask is that many C. rosefacia have been mislabeled as lanceolatus, even from the major wholesaler in LA. It looks like a rosefacia as males in that size range have a white area underneath.

Thanks,

LargeAngels,

I sincerely apologize for the confusion, and you are correct. I had mislabeled this fish last night but it is now corrected. The fish is in fact Cirrhilabrus roseafascia, an incredible male from Cebu with a black spot on the posterior of the pelvic fin.
