Did you dose the two parts of the recipe together? They need to be dosed seperately. If you do need to dose at the same time, they should be added far apart from each other and only in very small doses or dose them at different times of the day at least a 1/2 hour apart.
As to your snow storm, it should clear after a while with no real ill effects. Although I had a brain coral get burned during a stupid trick that I pulled off once that caused a serious snow storm. He never recovered. Everything else did though.
I dosed them at the same time with a drip...like I always do, but made he drips go faster this time. For now on I will dose them apart from eachother! Hey, you said "with no ill effects"...what are the effects exactly? Low calcium, high alk?
The "snow" is the calcium precipitating out of the water column so you may find that your calcium levels may be down some. Not sure about the alk.
Things should clear up for you. If it is a real bad storm, you may get some corals teed off by being burnt. That's what happened to my brain. I am really too embarrassed to say what I did. Just that it was stupid - and I paid for it.
I would just measure alkalinity and Ca, and work from there. You might want to do some water changes if the pH is too high. I don't use that supplement, so I'm not sure how much pH change you might see.
